Voice recognition, sound. Everything except for networking.

You have to use the ALSA sound driver to get sound and mic to work, Pulseaudio is a steaming pile of crap anyway. Also, don't install the Ubuntu Software Center version of Wine - it will install 1.4 and that did NOT work with this version Rosetta Stone. Go to the official Wine site, follow their install directions and get Wine from there. It worked fine with 1.6 Both the German modules and the Russian modules were tested. I would strongly recommend if you're installing multiple languages to install them in separate accounts, each with their own .wine prefix.

on wine-1.7.25 I have just installed Rosetta 4.5 without any modification to default wine configuration ... everything works ( except microphone, I need to try the above described workaround for alsa )
