  • when you try to launch the game, there's an error message which says that you need a Directx 11 graphic card. Wine doesn't work with Directx 11 so it's a no-go.

I just wanted to make an entre here so that everyone know that it isn't possible to play Crysis 3 on Wine due to Directx 11. I don't know a way to get it working on Directx 9 (don't think that it's possible).

Flickering video

I solved the flickering video by turning full screen to 'No' in the graphics options (I'm using wine 2.5). Turning it back to 'Yes' brought back the flickering. The 'Back' button still didn't work in the graphics options page.
