What works
The launcher starts up, to a flashing screen. You can open the configuration window, which is hard to see through all the flashing. You can then attempt to start the simulation. Then, it crashes.

This is on Mac OS 10.8.2 with a GTX660. It does run reasonably minimally in Parallels Desktop.
