What works

Everything works include publish and plot. 99.5% of functions work. We use it for everyday work for almost one year. The speed is acceptable, even in large scenes. If in native windows the speed is 100%, under wine it is likely 80%-85%.

What does not

There are small issues like mouse selection arrow box don't display well, marquee need GDIplus to work. When resizing the drawing window it will go to the wrong direction.

What was not tested

Teamwork. It's need to install BIM server on a windows machine, so we haven't tested it yet.

Additional Comments

wine 1.4.1 is the best to install archicad. wine 1.4.1 can't display the symbol preview. from wine 1.5.1 the DIB engine improve so the symbol works.By wine 1.5.12, the program works ok and fast.form wine 1.5.13 it slower a little bit, even from autocad test the zoom in and out we can see the different speed. By 1.5.15 version, the "Full support for layered windows" make the start up screen works, before it's have black edge. but from wine 1.5.15 version, in 3d window, the selection object high light preview don't work, which is very important in 3d selection, hope this can be fix.
