What works

Downloading the game using the downloader application

The installation process will hang at the begining. This can be fixed by a proper .net installation. Or can be easily workaround by killing the hanging process (The installer tries to install aeria_ignite wich depends on .net; but isn't required at all to launch or play the game)

The launcher can update the game out of the box. Unfortunately, you won't be able to launch the game without internet explorer (I had to install ie8 using winetricks)

Most models won't draw properly with a fresh wineprefix. The games need d3dx9_36.dll (but doesn't provide it). All missing graphics can be fixed by downloading d3dx9_36.dll.

-Instalation hang Fixed by .net instalation or workaround by 'kill -9 $(pidof aeria_ignite_install.exe)' -Launcher unable to connect Fixed using winetricks ie8 wininet -Models aren't drawn: Fixed by downloading d3dx9_36.dll and placing it in the game's folder The game works flawlessly; some slowdown when entering towns.
