The game allows players to perform exaggerated, gravity-defying action
moves, including wall running, stunning, tumbling, and blocking bullets
with swords, in the style of action movies and anime
Selected Test Results (selected in 'Test Results' table below)
Everything, except the mouse is sometimes a bit jumpy, see What does not work.
What does not
You can't change the settings from inside the game, you need to edit the config.xml file. More information about that at: http://www.gunzfactor.com/showthread.php/72319-Requested-My-config-xml-for-graphics-best-suited-for-aiming-minimising-fps-lag
The mouse is sometimes a bit jumpy. I have found that the most stable state was with wine 1.6 with GunZ in fullscreen in a virtualized desktop, with mwo disabled and automatically capture mouse in fullscreen window ticked.
What was not tested
I only played a couple of games yet, but the game didn't crash (as long as I didn't edit the settings).
The game definitely needs corefonts, there is no way around that or you won't be able to read any text.
I also installed gdiplus and directplay as they were mentionned by the previous test dating back from 2013, and dinput8 while trying to fix the jumpy mouse issue, but I'm not sure how much those are truly needed.
