HowTo / Notes

360 degrees mouse glitch

To fix the mouse glitch preventing you from turning 360 degrees:

Enable „Automatically capture the mouse in full-screen windows“ in winecfg.

(NOTE: A lot of people use MouseWarpOverride but that is NOT the correct solution!)

Thanks goes to Morgawr.

Game crashes upon launch

Game Seems to crash immediately when launched, running GOG version installed from Lutris, see this pastebin here for logs:
Certain cut scenes freeze on 3.17-staging
by Garrett Hale on Sunday October 14th 2018, 14:09
After animus overheats the game freezes before you can sleep, possibly freezes on other earlier or later cut scenes; I updated to 3.17-staging after completing some of the game only then did it start freezing.

I tested downgraded to 3.16-staging and it does not freeze on this cutscene, 3.18-staging does freeze.

Yes I know it runs, and it runs decent. But it has slowdowns (laggs). Not due gfx power, (512mb nvidia 640M gfx + 8gb ram) and also same thing on AMD Radeon 512mb 6770M. Dunno if it is the shaders, but if I try to do a testdebug of d3d, It creates monster logs of mulitple gigs, so badly that my system hangs of it. So couldn't really get a log.
