What works

The opening loader movies of company logos.

What does not

Everything, essentially.

Workarounds

As per last fedora report, msvcrt2005sp1 was tried, both as installed manually and via winetricks, no difference.

With winetricks d3dx9_36 , the opening 2-second logo videos now work, but nothing else.

What was not tested

Anything beyond startup, as you can't get past that.

Hardware tested

Additional Comments

I have tried WIN32 prefixes. I've tried the d3dx9_36 and manual vcrun2005 install, as in the last fedora report. Nothing seems to work. Victoria 2 will instantly crash on startup, seeming to randomly swap between issues reported in terminal with VC80.CRT (a vcrun2005 library), and a 'page fault on read access' issue. Related bug report has been submitted.
