Steps to get it working

The game has been tested by me to work very good with Wine 1.7.43 - versions below of that have produced various problems. Make sure to use the latest wine.

Before installing the game through Steam, the .NET installer inside of the game directory has to be removed. It will hang and possibly trash the wineprefix.
Afterwards, run winetricks mwo=enabled d3dx9 dxdiagn


Open up winecfg and set d3d11.dll to Disabled




The game will run now. UPlay's online save feature will not work, though.
