What works

Installs correctly

Runs correctly

identifies the usb cable as a com port

downloads correctly

What does not

Nothing I have discovered yet but note that the cable does not show up as an axe027 (see note below) but a generic device with no oem name

Workarounds

What was not tested

I just did a standard edit/download to an 18M2.

Additional Comments

Two problems need fixing first: 1) an error "missing wave32.ocx" is fixed by getting MFC40.dll from a windows distribution disk and placing it in .wine/windows/system (NOT /system32) 2) using the Rev-Ed special program, change the PID in the cable to 6001 so that the driver creates a /dev/ttyUSB0 device file. As neither changes linux it should work on any version. Other fixes (e.g. driver edits) don't work for me.
