Installed from GOG.com installer flawlessly. Played through Chapter one with no gameplay issues in full screen.
What does not
Running the game in virtual desktop or in a window I experienced some behavior issues with containers and dialogs. Container contents close immediately when opened, and dialogs that can only be acknowledged are acknowledged automatically before they can be read. Switching to full screen from windowed mode with alt-tab does not fix the issue, the game must be restarted in full screen mode. Also the launcher asks me to configure the game as if it were the first time every time. I'm sure there is a workaround, but it isn't working out of the box as intended.

Multiplayer can work, but requires some setup first.
The problem is with the current DirectPlay implementation. Read here how to set it up: http://wiki.winehq.org/DirectPlayGames
To get multiplayer working for games that use a DirectPlay version prior to 8, place the following DLLs:
dplayx.dll, dpnet.dll, dpnhpast.dll and dpwsockx.dll in this archive in WINE's windows/system32 directory, then add DLL overrides (native, builtin) with WINECFG.
