The latest AO patch reduced the size of the download to 1.1Gb. This is just a mini install that allows you to play the initial phase of the game while a background service supposedly downloads the rest of the game files. This new background service spawns from [email protected] and is responsible for the ERROR_INIT_GAMECLIENT error.
