- Windowed and fullscreen. Fullscreen is not proper is higher resolutions like 4K, where it only takes a part of the screen (the rest is black), but the same issue happens on Windows.

Additional Comments

The old game engine suffered from several sound issues, most probably related to GameMaker Game Engine. They should not happen with the new version released in August 2014. The following steps should not be necessary, but if you have any issue, they could help.

Sound issues  :

• Errors on start: "No sound device detected" and "Floating point error" (game will start though)
• No sound in-game whatsoever
• Sound, but whenever a sound effect happens (jump, land, shoot, break glass) the game lags for a second

Sound issues fix :

• Install directmusic and dsound : winetricks install directmusic dsound
• Select your output device if necessary : winecfg, then go to config -> audio -> choose an output device.

Other issues :

In case you get  "Error in action number 5" popup when starting the game, it means you need to install Visual C++ 2008 Runtime. You can install it with winetricks by running the following command :

winetricks vcrun2008
