Because i do quite a bit of php developing, and i have been using this product for a long time ( since version 3.x ) i was unable to totally switch from Windows to Ubuntu. This ide works nativly ( not java based) and over time it has so many refinements that it's just a pleasure to work with over other ide's. Of course my view is subjective, however if you want a good php \ web development environment i can highly recommend it
