Full Tilt Poker

What works

Tournament play, ring games, avatars, animation, real and fake money! Sound is ok, but drops off after some time on my system.

Installation works, but it only enabled me for fake money play even though I had a real money account.

What does not

A few drawing glitches when the window is moved. From the table view, the "Tourney Info"/"Last Hand"/"Options"/"Lobby"/"Stats" buttons at the top get overwritten by the background when the window is moved. The buttons at the bottom and scroll bars in other windows suffer from this too. They are restored when another window is dragged over them.

A straight installation from the installer EXE only allowed me to play for fake money. Copying over the Full Tilt directory from a Windows installation (no registry changes) seems to have fixed that for me. I can now play real and fake money, without using the Windows ADVAPI32.DLL.

The window focus can get a little confused from time to time, and this prevents the mouse hover information (stack size or folded cards) from popping up at the table. It can also make it difficult to chat.

What was not tested

Tested every feature I knew about. Played a full real-money tournament through SuSe 9.3 (x86-64) and placed 5th / 90. :-)

Additional Comments

Excellent drawing glitch improvements over the 0.9.31 Wine codebase. Previously, animation of dealing cards did not erase the cards as they moved. This is now fixed.

When working, the program has serious drawing issues with some of the card table setups - you may not be able to see your cards in some of the views.  Try the play money tables first.
