What works

• The entire game, as well as the server. Multiplayer seems to work as well.

What does not

• The game is slower than under Windows
• Launcher "Play" button flickers but still works
• Escape menu occasionally does not respond to input for quite some time, making it hard to exit the game
• Launcher does not die on exit, leaving behind a zombie CubeLauncher.exe process

Additional Comments

The game works after running "winetricks vcrun2012 xact orm=backbuffer" in a 32-bit wine prefix. It is very important that you use a 32-bit wine prefix, as xact does not work in a 64-bit wine prefix. The workaround listed above requires the latest, untested release of the winetricks script, as vcrun2012 is not available in the current release of winetricks.
