thanks! the codec shouldn't be needed for the rebirth version of the game though. ~lyn

Mods like Tifas Final Heavan doesnt work on wineskin though i think if you use wine staging gallium nine it might work. (though i think gallium nine is only for linux XD)

sorry for the late updates was very busy in school (college) 2nd semester already started after i posted my El Capitan update. i stopped playing FF7 for a while but a few days ago when i played again i was in the mythril mine, but i forgot something so i decided to go outside again, but when i tried to go out the game crashed on me the error has no description. i might double check it later. just a heads up.

If you are looking to complete your Enemy Skill entries, I couldn't get Pandora's Box to trigger from Dragon Zombie on Wine at all. I got it working after loading my save from via the cloud to a Windows machine.

Install driconf
Open driconf and select 'yes' next to: Enable S3TC texture compression even if software support is not available

This worked with my radeon open source drivers.
