Installation and running the game at native LCD screen resolutions of 1680 x 1050. As do custom key assignments.
What does not
I don't get comparable frames per seconds as running on Windows XP for this same hardware which is well above the recommended system specifications of:
Pentium II (or compatible) 300 MHz
32 MB RAM
250 MB (or more) of Hard Drive Space
3D Accelerated Video Card with at least 8 MB of video RAM
With full graphical settings on this should be getting 60
FPS. Running the full test gives an average of 26 FPS. The game is
mostly playable with a few slow downs, or stutters in the frame rate
here and there.
Changing the graphical settings and screen resolution the game runs at does not effect the frames per second at all. Changing the in game screen resolution causes the full screen game to offset a third of the way up the monitor making the game unplayable at anything but native LCD screen resolution. I was though still able to to see the frames per second test results and changing to 800 x 600 had no effect on it.
What was not tested
Playing the whole game through. I only played through part way of the the first Kurt section past the tutorial.
No platinum rating for this since it should be getting full 60 FPS and changing screen resolutions does not work. System specifications: LinuxMint 17 XFCE 32-bit CPU - AMD Athlon XP 1800+ RAM - 1GB GPU - Nvidia 7600GS (AGP) 256MB Motherboard - Abit KR7A-133R Chipset - Via KT266A - VT8366A and VT8233A Sound card - Creative Labs Audigy 2 ZS Using Nvidia proprietary driver version 304.117 installed from Driver Manager.
