What works

It installs fine in Wine 1.7.10 and tries to start up the login screen but does not show. Workaround: Double-click on the Tray Icon. Click on the round blue Advanced arrow button in the lower left corner of the login window, click Settings and enter your server and username, hit save, type password, and then click på the green login button (hitting enter will freeze the app).

If you want to be able to open attachments and web links from FirstClass in you local Linux applications, do this (All versions): 1. Download the files winenative http://sajtverkstan.net/FBNimage/download/winenative and open_native.reg http://sajtverkstan.net/FBNimage/download/open_native.reg 2. In a terminal: # As root sudo cp winenative /usr/bin/ sudo chmod +x /usr/bin/winenative # As normal user regedit open_native.reg 3. All done!
