The launcher fails to run with error "The entry point method could not be loaded". This means several advanced graphics options are not available, including vsync and anti-aliasing. These may be changed via an ini file, though. I'm not sure which one.

Like with most GOG.com release it is important to run the installer with the /nogui flag or you'll eventually run into an error along the lines of "too many winprocs". $ wine setup_the_rise_of_the_triad_2.0.0.3 /nogui The /nogui flag has the benefit of skipping things like installing a PDF reader anyway.
