Additional Comments

I've installed Steam using winetricks. Game runs smoothly, without any graphical issues. On my machine (i5, GeForce 460) framerate was good enough to do not see any difference with Windows 8. To see in game movies you need to install Windows Media Player with codecs. I used winetricks for this. I had to run wmp10 task twice - in current version of winetricks it fails on first attempt. Beside lack of movies everything works perfectly fine.

HowTo / Notes

In-game movies
This game requires Windows Media Player 10 to show in-game movies. You must install it before running the game. Simplest solution is to use winetricks to do all the work. Problem is when you use 64-bit wine with 64-bit prefix (created by default) - currently WMP10 doesn't work on such configurations.

You must create 32-bit prefix and install Steam and WMP10 in it. Make sure that "~/.local/share/wineprefixes/steam" doesn't exist and run this command:

WINEARCH=win32 WINEPREFIX=~/.local/share/wineprefixes/steam winetricks steam wmp10 l3codecx

Then you can install the game using Steam as usual.
