The installation will not work because NI Maschine setup is not able to detect your maschine hardware. Even with native caiaq-usb drivers its not possible to get this installation to work In order to run the software you need to wether install it on windows or fire up a virtual maschine like VMWare or VirtualBox and install it there. ***System Information*** CPU: Intel I7 Extreme 3970X RAM: 64G GPU: NVIDIA GTX 690 VGA Driver: Latest Nvidia (at this time 319.04) ***Installation*** 1. operating on a clean !!!32bit!!! WINEPRFIX (dont know if thats nec. but im using a new PREFIX for every app i install...) 2. copy over all of your setup files to your brandnew wineprefix 3. create your desktop launcher and fire up Maschine Maschine is not able to detect your hardware, therefor its absolute useless on wine. Its the known USB problem with wine and of course a epic fail of audio hardware provider who are not developing their drivers for linux.
