What works
Tested on mid-2011 27" iMac, Intel quad core i5 with 20GB RAM, 1TB hard drive. Midisport 2x2 Anniversary midi interface, Allen Protege L-322t console. Bowers and Wilkins MM1 USB-driven speakers. Installs fine. Runs the default St Anne's Moseley organ fine. Only used main computer audio output - did not test midi out at all.
What does not
However when I tried some other free Hauptwerk instruments (e.g. Silbermann Grosshartmannsdorf) the sound would stop after only a few seconds' playing. Then it came back for a few seconds, then went again.
The CPU usage indicator was in the red a lot of the time.
Large popups for midi, performance etc would disappear when the x in the corner was clicked, but could not be moved, which was annoying as they obscure the main console window.
Also latency (time delay between striking the key/pedal and sound emerging) was very high, and seemed almost unaffected by the setting of the audio output buffer size.
Also text on some of the windows was fuzzy and difficult/impossinble to readf.
Workarounds
What was not tested
Midi output, any dongle functionality.
Hardware tested
