Since the timer is the most important part of WSplit, it may be useless if the digital clock font does not work. Fortunately it can be disabled from Display settings -> Clock appearance -> (untick) Digital clock font. Also it's necessary .Net Framework 3.5. Just "winetricks dotnet35sp1" will work. If dotnet35sp1 won't install (but the previous versions did), try executing the installer given in the .Net Framework 3.5 article
