Additional Comments

For the installation process, a 32-bit Wine installation is necessary. Therefore, be sure to set the WINEPREFIX and WINEARCH environment variables to the appropriate values.

Then, follow these steps

1. Install ie8, vcrun2008, wininet and winhttp using winetricks. When asked to reboot, always answer yes.

winetricks ie8 vcrun2008 wininet winhttp

2. Open winecfg 

winecfg

3. In the "Libraries" tab of winecfg edit the entries "winhttp" and "wininet" and set them to "Builtin, then native"

4. Download the Google Drive standalone installer from https://dl.google.com/drive/gsync_enterprise.msi

5. Execute the installer 

wine start gsync_enterprise.msi
