version on steam is 1.6.15 as of testing date (2018-11-24)

installed through wine steam rather than using proton/steamplay in the native linux steam client because this game has a linux port and steam/proton currently does not allow you to download and run the windows version of a game which has a native linux port available

tested this because the native linux version downloaded from the native linux client will not launch from steam even with the workaround suggested by the developer in the steam forums. it can be launched from the binary in the steam folder but then steamworks features and steam overlay dont work
