the launcher and all of its menus, configuring mods.

What does not

it is all very random in nature, and can not be predicted.

at times one can get to the main menu of the game, but usually it is impossible to go beyond the main menu. the complete game process goes into a zero percent cpu usage mode, and hangs on a black screen after two or three seconds of the oblivion menu logo animation is shown.

i have tested many guides and self proclaimed fixes that can be found on the internet. i also experimented with native vs. built in dll overrides. and the last time i started messing with the "ini" of the game.
