What works

Most things, everything I guess.

What does not

Setup needs a helping hand by ejecting the drive via the "wine eject x:" command (where x is wine's virtual cd-rom-drive-letter; "d:" for example). This is necessary 2 times since you have to switch the discs while installation.

Only played a few seconds due to the good reports for older wine versions. Guess it didn't get worst.

Additional Comments

I've instantly switched to OpenGL before started the game (Options/Performance in the autorun menu). No crack needed.

HowTo / Notes

HOWTO Install the game

To install the game, you have to switch CDs during the process. The easiest way is to "mount one over the other":

mount cd1.iso /mnt/image
start installer and wait for it to ask for the other CD
mount cd2.iso /mnt/image
wait for the installer to ask for the first CD again
umount /mnt/image
finish the installtion

You can also use wine eject x: command, but it does not always work for me.

HOWTO Make graphics work

OBSOLETE: This addresses blue faces, hands etc, and more glitches! (not for every wine version apparently, please test this)
Use monkey4.exe to run the game (the launcher), not monkey.exe (the game itself).
Also, setup graphics to use OpenGL instead of Direct3D and 32bpp (in the launcher options).
