Everything (see extra comments)
What does not
- Music works only after a modify in wine register (see below)
- The "how-to" for the blue faces didn't work for me, so this graphical glitch is still here also after setting "Opengl" and 32 or 16 colors in graphical settings.
What was not tested
Ok, this is how to make it work: Install: - Backup your CDs and mount the image of CD1. - Begin the installing process (full installation). - Switch the image to the one of CD2. - Continue installing process. - Switch again to CD1. - End the installing process. Play the game: - Install the official 1.1 patch - Use a noCD crack - Play "Monkey4.exe" and not "Monkey.exe" (it shows a directx error) Music in the game: - Open wine register (wine regedit) - Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/LucasArts Entertainment Company/Monkey4/Retail and change every single key that points to the cdrom, putting the path of the folder where you installed the game instead of the path of the cdrom. (for example if you installed the game in \home\yourusername\EFMI folder, put "z:\home\yourusername\EFMI" in "Cd Path", "Source Dir", "Source Path" and "Analyze Path" keys in the register).
