Finished the game without any major problems
What does not
Setup option from the game launcher throws an error and cannot start.
What was not tested
The game has a bunch of quirks not related to Wine itself. Sometimes you can get your character stuck in the environment, most often when trying to make Guybrush to step on something (getting on and off the raft, for example). This can be fixed by slowing the game down. I used CGroups to make game playable on my computer (ASUS P8Q77-M2/Core i7-3770/16Gb RAM): - sudo cgcreate -g cpu:emi -a jeff:users - cgset -r cpu.cfs_quota_us=27500 emi - cgexec -g cpu:emi wine Monkey.exe This made the game work flawlessly from Lucre Island on, didn't need it earlier. PS Same trick worked for other older games, notably Simon 3D and original Grim Fandango.
