Single-player (skirmishes, campaign)
What does not
Multi-player does not work, as there is an unimplemented function (fixme:dpnet:IDirectPlay8PeerImpl_Host). This seems to affect other older games as well.
Ships are invisible unless a workaround is used.
Workarounds
As other reports have said (from much older versions of wine) you must create a DWord key "MaxShaderModelVS" with value of 0 in "HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Wine/Direct3D".
Run "wine regedit" to do this. If the "Direct3D" folder does not exist, you can create it and it will have the same effect.
