What works
I just installed Metatrader 4, after installing the recommended files from winetricks. It works almost perfect.
What does not
So far what does not work is that I cannot input any information to change any settings in the indicators or ea's. I can change them fine on Windows computers. Perhaps there are some other files that need to be downloaded from the Internet. Perhaps winetricks can include some additional files in their next version. There needs to be an easier way, though, instead of having to look for the additional files.
Workarounds
What was not tested
I am using Metatrader on demo accounts, and it seems to be able to open and close trades, but I do now know if it would work on live trades.
