After some work, everything tested seemed to work fine:

- Played through exiting first village/looking at world map

Additional Comments

To get FEZ working required the following: - Fresh win32 WINEPREFIX - winetricks --no-isolate steam [for Steam] - winetricks dotnet40 dri=gdi [needed to avoid black screen] - Install x360ce from http://code.google.com/p/x360ce/ [Game crashed with an Xinput complaint on startup without this] With wine-mono the game seemed to think it was running properly, but I got nothing but a black screen, and force windowed mode wasn't honored. The Steam overlay seemed to be working in this setup, except that I still couldn't see anything. F12 for screenshots gave me successful screenshots as though the game were working properly. Other users have had success using wine-mono for the GOG and HumbleBundle releases; I have been unable to determine what is different about my setup.
