What works

Everything works in version 1.113

What does not

Sound, Multiplayer and Mouse input require little tweaking. Setting HDR to 'high' causes the skybox to change tint when auto aperture is enabled. Withoug auto aperture the sky box and lighting are not working. HDR setting 'low' works flawlessly though.

To enable sound and multiplayer two settings have to be change in the game's configuration file 'rgl_config.txt'. It can typically be found in your wine's Application Data directory. From the shel you can search it with this command: $ find ~/.wine/ -iname rgl_config.txt Change this value to enable sound: use_winmm_audio = 1 "mmdevapi" should be set to "disabled" under "Libraries" tab in "Wine configuration" and multiplayer: use_secure_connection = 0 Mouse bug as in previous Mount & Blade, can be easily fixed with an alternative dinput.dll.so. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6971 A Howto and discussion can be found in the games official forums: http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,99405.msg2484377.html#msg2484377

If you're getting low FPS with Warband, try the following: Enable single threading. Open the "~/.wine/drive_c/users/your_user_name/My Documents/Mount&Blade Warband/rgl_config.txt" (change the path to reflect your Warband installation) configuration file and set "force_single_threading" attribute to 1.
