Additional Comments

Running under a 64 bit prefix with nearly everything installed already. (VC, Net, fonts, DX etc) Have to run game executable with -dx9, and for that it seems you need to add dinput and dinput8 to your DLL overrides. Keyboard input was a bit wonky until I alt-tabbed and clicked around like mad upon first load. Load times are a bit slower than normal though performance is stable and pretty fast. FX-8370 @ 4.7ghz 16GB Ram 2x 290x TRI-X with latest catalyst drivers. Realtek ALC892 sound. (+Alsa/Pulse.)

HowTo / Notes

Choppy sound fix
2015-04-20 Admin note: the following was extracted from a user comment made in 2014 and may not be relevant to current Wine.

I fixed it by changing my systems pulse audio sampling frequency to 44100 Hz, it was 48 kHz before.
