Operates great under the tested Linux distribution. Managing .dta files, working with the editor and the log file. The help window is also fine. The user would probably need to change the font in the Results window and the Help window, in order to have a better font and size of the text. Most of the analysis executed fine, descriptive statistics, regression analysis, multi-level, random effects and mixed effects models also operated fine. Graphs and table outputs work fine too.
What does not
The only problem found was using the do-files. Although it is possible to edit and run a new do-file, Stata does not respond on saving it, open any other do-file. So, the do-file editor will be a huge problem for the user. However, one should write the commands using any text editor in linux and from command line in Stata run it using: do
