Separated installation of Adobe Air is NOT required, but the Color Management package for wine ("wine-cms" in Fedora) is necessary; otherwise, the installation or running the application will fail with the message similar to "This application needs a version of Adobe AIR that can't be found...". Check the Adobe Air appDB article.
