Rocksmith 2014

What works

I'm playing Bass with the Rocksmith cable.  I've used DLC and RS1 imported content.

No problems with latency, was able to drive the app to 3840x1600 by selecting it inside of the app.

What does not

Out of the box the Rocksmith Real Tone cable doesn't work until the changes I mention in workarounds below are applied.  After that, everything appears to work fine.

Workarounds

Initially I could not get my Rocksmith Real Tone cable to work. I modified my ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Rocksmith2014/Rocksmith.ini file to have:

ExclusiveMode=0
Win32UltraLowLatencyMode=0

Previously, I had been trying to play via Lutris but couldn't get the cable to work. At that time I had changed "Profile: Off" for the Rocksmith Guitar Adapter using pavucontrol.

What was not tested

Rhythm or lead guitar.
