The installer works up until it attempts to start the fitbit service, at which point, you get the message that "fitbit.exe has encountered a serious error and needs to close." The tray icon starts if you click ok, and appears to work somewhat. You are able to bring up the options screen, and it appears to work fine.
What does not
The fitbit service does not apparently run. Also, if you click the about button in the system tray icon for fitbit, the popup that tells you the application versioin can't be closed. You have to manually xkill it.
What was not tested
The ability to upload data from the fitbit device itself.
