What works
The fitbit tray icon program seems to work fine. Installation works fine until it attempts to start the data uploader service.
What does not
The data uploader service does not work. It pops up the "The program fitbit.exe has encountered a serious problem..." message. See comments below for a stack trace. Interestingly, the service appears to still be running in some form. Running "wine net start fitbit" will complain that the service is already running. "wine net stop fitbit" will stop it, and then when you run "wine net start fitbit" again, you get the same "serious problem" error.
Workarounds
What was not tested
Nothing, apart from further testing of the data uploader which will not start.
