What does not
What was not tested
haven't finished the game but everything appears ok.
So in order to get this to work (run through console with 'wine BGEE.exe to get the dump): 1. Install in windows and get the files to a folder on linux-wine (my version had an extractor so... this step wasn't really required for me, but it's the way to go); 2a. I was missing this, so I had to install it under wine» http://code.google.com/p/rallyraid/downloads/detail?name=oalinst.zip&can=2&q= 2b. console said i was still missing OpenAL32.dll even after it was in system32 dir, so I copy/pasted it to the Baldur's gate dir and works; 3. This step only if missing textures (menu, backgrounds, etc). Run with 'force_s3tc_enable=true wine BGEE.exe' 4. On a sidenote I also had to install winbind I got a console warning for it (apt-get install winbind). For more reference go » http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/9468/bgee-on-wine-for-gnu-linux It seems this doesn't play well with x64 systems yet. That's it.
