HowTo / Notes

Note
2015-02-11 Admin note: the following tips were extracted from a user comment made in 2014 and may not be relevant to current Wine.
- I eliminated most of the graphical flickering by setting Anti-aliasing to the lowest mode above 'disabled'.

- Setting 'mouseSmoothing=0;' int the user.DayZProfile file helps a lot!

- If you wonder why your torch is pointing slightly to the left of you r char, press 'space' ;-).

Note

2017-01-04 Admin note: BattleEye fails to start. See bug list. One can get around this by renaming DayZ.exe as DayZ_BE.exe. However, the the game will crash shortly after loading. If it doesn't crash, then one may not find a non-BattleEye server on which to play.
