What works

Installer completes with errors.

What does not

Installer states near end "Invalid name", but appears to complete - you are offered a finish button, it does not crash. Shortcuts are created.

Application will start initialization, but not complete as it can not access setting files. Gives numerous errors about can't access setting files, can't find translation for message and eventually crashes before startup completes.

 It is clear that some of the setting files have not installed.

To be clear: It looks like it installs, but the installer has not completed. It will start running the program but will not complete start up, as the installer had not completed. There are no crash logs.
