Baldur's Gate Trilogy is a modification which intends to create a continuity between Baldur's Gate, its expansion Tales of the Sword Coast, Baldur's Gate II, and its expansion Throne of Baal.
It's a mod to BG2 and it will modify BG2 game files to include everything needed.
This version is from GOG.com + BGT-WeiDU 1.18 and a few minor other mods.

What works
installs and runs great
played all the way through bg1 and totsc and about half of shadows of amn
Note:
I almost gave up on this as the mouse cursor stuttered horribly and every mouse move was extremely slow.
A post for ubuntu karmic on the shadows of amn database suggested
using winetricks ddr=opengl, then enabling 3d acceleration in bgconfig.
Game was perfect after that except load times were slow.
A comment on this page suggested a mod called 'generalized_biffing'. This greatly improved load time.
Thanks to all that posted I am very pleased.
What does not
installer stumble on discs
Workarounds
dump all discs in a folder and install from there
What was not tested
multiplayer
Hardware tested

Multiplayer can work, but requires some setup first.
The problem is with the current DirectPlay implementation. Read here how to set it up: http://wiki.winehq.org/DirectPlayGames
To get multiplayer working for games that use a DirectPlay version prior to 8, place the following DLLs:
dplayx.dll, dpnet.dll, dpnhpast.dll and dpwsockx.dll in this archive in WINE's windows/system32 directory, then add DLL overrides (native, builtin) with WINECFG.
