Baldur's Gate Trilogy is a modification which intends to create a continuity between Baldur's Gate, its expansion Tales of the Sword Coast, Baldur's Gate II, and its expansion Throne of Baal.
It's a mod to BG2 and it will modify BG2 game files to include everything needed.
This version is from GOG.com + BGT-WeiDU 1.18 and a few minor other mods.

Additional Comments
Baldur's Gate I & II were taken from GOG.com. BGT and other mods were taken from around the web. There is no "easy" install for mods, but it works very well once installed. There even are tools to install the mods with Linux ! :). Needed : - WeiDU Linux 236 (binaries provided on their website) - Baldur's Gate II Fixpack v10 - Baldur's Gate Trilogy-WeiDU 1.18 (from git since the forums seem to timeout) - Baldur's Gate Unfinished Business v13 (http://www.pocketplane.net/bg1ub) - Baldur's Gate II Unfinished Business v23 (http://www.pocketplane.net/ub) This is how I did it : - Install BG1 with wine - Install BG2 with wine - Put WeiDU binaries somewhere in the path - Put bg2fixpack folder in BG2 folder - Put bgt folder & setup-bgt.tp2 in BG2 folder - Copy bgt/install/unix/x86 to bgt/install/unix/amd64. If you don't, weinstall will complain about missing binaries. This should only happen on x64 systems, not on i386 I suppose. - Copy bg1ub folder to BG2 folder - Copy BG2 unfinished business binary to BG2 folder - Run it with wine so it uncompress necessary files - Kill it when it runs WeiDU installer (ctrl-c + kill process, it seems that running weinstall from wine doesn't work as expected) - Run tolower from BG2 folder, answer Y to questions. - Run weinstall bg2fixpack - Run weinstall bgt - Run weinstall bg1ub - Run weinstall ub I ran everything in English, I didn't test other languages. I might have tested French, but GOG.com version is in English only according to their website, and I didn't want to create problems. I described the installation here, and I might update if I find any issue : http://blog.moomoocamp.net/index.php/baldur-s-gate-trilogy-on

Multiplayer can work, but requires some setup first.
The problem is with the current DirectPlay implementation. Read here how to set it up: http://wiki.winehq.org/DirectPlayGames
To get multiplayer working for games that use a DirectPlay version prior to 8, place the following DLLs:
dplayx.dll, dpnet.dll, dpnhpast.dll and dpwsockx.dll in this archive in WINE's windows/system32 directory, then add DLL overrides (native, builtin) with WINECFG.

However, there is a mod called 'generalized_biffing' which converts all installed mod files into a file format better suited for and easier loaded by the game. BGT does this also while you install it.
The mod 'generalized_biffing' should be installed last after all others.
This took me a while to figure out, so hope the next person here has less problems!
