Additional Comments

Before to launch the game for the first time on Steam: 1) install directxfullsetup (Directx 9.0c Juin 2010) with winetricks. 2) By default, Steam launches "SWTFU Launcher.exe" executable. This executable needs dotnet 3.5sp1 and a Wine version compiled with lcms2' support. This executable does not work for me, so I found this workaround: in folder .wine/drive_c/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/common/Star Wars The Force Unleashed/, rename "SWTFU Launcher.exe" to "SWTFU Launcher.exe.bak". Then copy "SWTFU.exe" to "SWTFU Launcher.exe" to replace it. 3) in .wine/drive_c/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/common/Star Wars The Force Unleashed/, rename "Support" folder to "Support.bak" because we don't want Steam installs basic packages before to launch the game (directx,dotnet...) 4) launch the game, wait for the menu to appear and close it 5) go to .wine/drive_c/users/your_profile_name/Local Settings/Application Data/Aspyr/Star Wars The Force Unleashed/ and edit the config.xml to choose your resolution. Search for: id="VideoWidth" 1920 id="VideoHeight" 1080 6) play the game If you want to play with a gamepad, you need to use x360ce program https://code.google.com/p/x360ce/. Once you configured your gamepad with it, put two files, xinput1_3.dll and x360ce.ini to aim game folder. Then you need to change this line your config.xml: id="IsKBAndMouse" to FALSE It is a great game, it runs full speed and it is stable on wine 1.7.17 with this config: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Trusty 64 bits NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 with official Ubuntu Nvidia drivers 331.38 Processor Intel i5-3570 3,4 Ghz 8 Go RAM
