What works

Nothing. Will not install. Code inserted by Canon, Inc. causes an error: "This driver is only for 32-bit Windows." Thanks a lot, Canon. If not for that error condition, I'd be scanning right now in Linux.

What does not

What was not tested

Nothing could be tested because the scanner cannot be installed due to Canon, Inc.

Additional Comments

The intent is to force the user to buy a new scanner and throw the old scanner in the garbage. I think I will just use a digital camera instead of a scanner. It will not be a Canon, Inc. product.

HowTo / Notes

Warning
Attempting to install this driver is a waste of time; Windows hardware drivers do not work in Wine. Scanners must have a working SANE driver to be recognized by Wine.
