This was Studio 9 Plus
The installation ran pretty much without a hitch, there were a few pop-ups that were mainly to do with dll's that weren't there like setupapi.dll and psapi.dll. One thing I noticed right away was that one of the pop-up windows with a progress bar never would seem to disappear and the page where you enter your serial number was hidden behind that page, if you move it down you can see it and enter information which will allow it to go onto the next screen.
What does not
When it got near the end of the installation it was missing something and I didn't catch exactly what it said, but as soon as it disappeared it started uninstalling the program. I have a feeling that if you had the different dll's to start with you might have a better chance. Also there is a small pop-up box that says something abot not being able to start PCLEPCI which is a pinnacle systems process. I'm not sure it's really needed to make the isntallation work.
What was not tested
I couldn't test the program because at the end when it couldn't find or install something it immediately started uninstalling. I was trying it with 0.9.9 but next time I'll try the installation with 0.9.16
I wouldn't give up on this just yet, it seems promising since it's one of my favorite programs I would really like to see it work.
