What was not tested
Components: quartz (mandatory), devenum (not mandatory), d3dx9 (mandatory if using any render modes except 'Old Video Renderer') Wine Display Configuration: setting direct draw render to 'gdi' (manditory for playing video in any other render mode except 'Old Video Renderer') The video render mode can be changed under Options > Playback > Output > DirectShow Video, with 'Old Video Renderer' being the safest mode to use. This was tested on mpc-hc version 220.127.116.11 which is bundled with K-Lite Codec Pack 10.2 [LAV Filters v0.59.1, ffdshow v1.3.4527] and also works in wine 1.7.9 and 1.4.1 (though playback in 1.4.1 is choppy). If attempting to run mpc-hc using the installer from the developer's website, the player will crash on startup unless you use wine 1.7.6+ or 1.6.2+. This was tested on MPC-HC version 1.7.1 (9ae7b7c).
