What works

Almost everything is working. It is possible to open new Finale data files and edit them. The files can also be played by Finale.

What does not

The scanning function (Windows TWAIN) isn't functional. It stops with an error message that "SSLite.dll" is missing.

Workarounds

It is recommended (but directly required) to install the Windows Corefonts and MSXML6

winetricks -q corefonts

winetricks -q msxml6

What was not tested

The MIDI interface was not tested. It may be at the moment (for Wine 5.x) not functional because of missing USB MIDI support.

Hardware tested

Graphics:

  • GPU: Nvidia
  • Driver: proprietary
